Earthquake in Japan has effect on Earth axis - videos

The powerful earthquake that hit Japan on Friday morning has moved the main island of Japan by 2.4 meters.
It has also shifted the Earth on its axis nearly 10 centimeters.
This is the most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in recorded history.
The tectonic plates slipped more than 18 meters along an area of 400 kilometers long,and 160 kilometers wide.
