Lunar landscape in Iceland ,photos of the south part in summer time

Here are a few photos i took last summer .
This is when i was travelling in the south part of Iceland .
And as you can see , not a lot of trees there .
In 1967 the men that went later to the Moon - came to Iceland to practice , and you can see , in the lunar landscape here - that when they went to and walked on the moon  - it was just like walking in Iceland .

    Beautiful pics! I've only been to Iceland in the winter time so I've missed out on all of the green. Thanks for sharing!
