Aurora Borealis over Reykjavik in Iceland februar 23. 2014 - video and photos

The Northern Lights made a visit tonight over Iceland .
Took these photos and video about and hour ago in Reykjavik.
The weather was clear skies, and calm winds - but the temperature was at around 0 degrees on the celsius . 

Reykjavik today with good weather and great scenery - photos

Went for a walk in downtown Reykjavik , and as you can see, the weather was excellent.
Lots of tourists , enjoying the weather and scenery .

Little bit of snow in Reykjavik,Iceland january 30 2014

Today it snowed a little bit in the south part of Iceland . And here you can see how it was - lotsw of snow and slippery roads -
 I took this at around 17:00 hours today ,while i was driving home from work . Traffic was a lot slower and people drove carefully .
 And you can see on one of the photos - people still use the bikes - even when it snows . And dont tell anybody - i might have gone over the red traffic light there

Northern lights ( aurora Borealis ) on the first day of 2014

Happy New Year . and this evening at 22:00 hours local , the aurora borealis made a visit and made a great show with the clouds over Reykjavik. After all the fireworks and loudness on the last day of 2013 - it is great to see this show in the sky - and no loudness.
